Factory workers seem busy, so why are they so inefficient?
Why are factory workers so ineffective when they appear to be busy?
This paradox occurs frequently in factories: everyone is extremely busy, and nearly every department is overworked, but total productivity is low. Finding the root of the problem is challenging, and I have no idea how to fix it. Today, let's work together to find a cure for terrible sickness.
1. The procedure should be enhanced
To determine whether an enterprise is inefficient, one should first determine whether its procedures are reasonable, succinct, and efficient, whether there is room for improvement, and how likely they are to be improved.
2. Lack of institutional backing
Check the system once you've checked the process. Check the management system to see if it is sound and complete, conducive to promoting the process' implementation, and supported by the system in a real way if there are no issues with the process itself.
Maybe there is a good process system, but the service management system and business management system do not support the processing system, or the systems are mutually restrictive and contradictory, or full of loopholes, or the formulation of the system does not fully respect the human feelings, the system is too strict, Heavy punishment equals no punishment. Everyone employs various strategies to take advantage of the system's flaws and even joins forces to battle it. The binding force is insufficient when the system is too lax.
3. Improper regulation
Although the enterprise has a good process and a good comprehensive management system, no one supervises, or the supervision is not in place, or the supervision is offside, or the supervision methods are backward, or the quality of the supervisors is questionable, which will greatly reduce the entire organization. the system's effectiveness in terms of functioning.
Systems and processes are rigid, whereas supervision is pliable. Principles must be followed by supervision. People's loyalty to the policies and systems will be significantly reduced if the supervisors can't act honestly and unfairly. Weak supervision will unavoidably result from knowing how to supervise but not knowing what to supervise or how to supervise.
Weak supervision will lead to not knowing what everyone is busy with, whether they are busy right, whether they are necessary, whether they are really busy, or busy with ideas; or supervision is too strict and rigid, and they do not know how to combine principles and flexibility, sticking to the outdated and backward management system will greatly limit people's enthusiasm and creativity.
