The content and requirements of wire harness product inspection that you must know


When testing whether the wire harness product is qualified, it should be tested as required:


  One: Measure the length of the harness:


1. The length of the trunk line;


2. The length of the branch line;


3. The length of the branch point;


4. The distance between the protective sleeve and the sheath (ie the length of the exposed power cord).

Two: crimping and firmness testing:


1. The wires are not damaged;


2. When the crimping method without special requirements is adopted, the terminal should be pressed on the conductor and the insulating layer respectively, the conductor should not be crimped, and the insulating layer should not be pressed into the crimping part of the conductor, which can be seen in the area a shown in Figure 1. wire conductors, but not in the way of mating;


3. The insulating layer is still visible in the b area after the insulating layer is subjected to a bending test of not less than 3 cycles;


4. The connection between the terminal and the wire should be firm, and it should not be damaged or disengaged under the specified pulling force, and the pulling force value should not be less than specified.


Three: The voltage drop between the terminal and the wire crimp should not be greater than specified.


Four: Contact out requirements:


1. When the solderless welding method is used, oxidation, broken wires, defects, and melting of the insulating layer are not allowed on the surface of the welding site.


2. When using the solderless welding method, the tearing force should not be less than that specified.


Five: The sealing plug should not be damaged during crimping. There should be no visible gaps between the wire and the sealing plug and between the sealing plug and the sheath. After the wire and sealing plug are crimped to the terminal, the end of the sealing plug and wire insulation should be visible in the area as specified.


Six: When the wire bundle is wrapped, it should be tight and even, and should not be loose. When the protective sleeve is used, there is no displacement or bending of the wire bundle.


Seven: The insulating sleeve at the connection between the wire and the terminal in the wire harness should be tightly sleeved on the connection part without displacement and detachment.


Eight: The wires and parts in the wire harness should be assembled correctly, there should be no dislocation, and the terminals should not come out of the sheath.


Nine: The line conduction rate in the wire harness is 100%, and there is no short circuit or wrong circuit phenomenon.


Ten: Logo


1. The wire harness should be marked with obvious signs that are not easy to fall off.


2. The contents of the product mark are as follows: a) Product name b) Model or applicable unit or air conditioner.


1. After the wire harness has passed the inspection, it should be accompanied by a document or mark that proves the quality of the product;


2. The wiring harness can be used only after passing the inspection.
