The "five questions method" is a good way to solve on-site problems, you can list a workshop site problems and apply the "five questions method" on the board to analyze and solve on-site problems.
"Five questions" is the so-called 5why analysis method, that is, a problem point in a row with five "why" from the question, in order to investigate the root cause.
Although for 5 why, the use of not limited to only "5 times why the exploration", the main thing is to find the root cause at the end.
Why the wire harness workshop site management is so important?
Let's take an example from the workshop: Why does the problem of under-injection of adipic acid occur during the production of intermediates?
We analyze the problem according to the five questions of site management.
1、Why does it present less adipic acid?
Analysis result: Because the operator did not find the correct quantity of intermediate adipic acid in time.
2、Why did the operator not find the amount of intermediate adipic acid in time?
Analysis result: Because the operator is feeding according to the wrong feeding list.
3、Why is there a wrong feeding list?
Analysis result: Because the operator did not fill out the feeding list in time to correct the technician.
4、Why was it not submitted to the technician for correction in time?
Analysis result: The operator was in a hurry to leave work and did not submit the correction to the technician in time.
5、Why the shift handover staff did not hand over the shift correctly in time, and the receiving staff did not find the problem?
Analysis result: Due to the staff's lack of obligation and attention, they did not do all the inspection work of the shift.
Preventive measures
When feeding, fill out the feeding record according to the process instruction.
After filling it out, submit it to the technician for correction and signature in time.
When handing over the shift, fill in the shift record sheet carefully and do all the confirmation before handing over the shift.
When you take over the shift, you should check the feeding record sheet and process parameters of the previous shift.
When handing over the shift, you should not have a lucky and numb mentality.
The technician should urge and check the operator to do a good job of shift handover.
