This Wiring Harness for BMW E30 is made for a BMW E30 with a swapped-in RB25DET NEO engine. It was made in-house on a real RB25DET NEO engine to make sure that all engine connections fit perfectly.
NOTE for 1982-1986 E30 Models
Due to the OEM chassis harness wiring's age and inability to properly support a modern EFI system, 82-86 E30 orders will get a self-contained version of the harness that uses a 5-relay Bussmann fuse block to connect with the ignition, fuel pump, two cooling fans, and Auxiliary relays.
You'll have to connect a few wires by hand for the speedometer, tachometer, coolant temperature, oil pressure warning light, alternator warning light, and other things. These can be wired directly to sensors and gauges or hooked up to the OEM body connector.
This option is the best way to make sure that the existing chassis wiring in the E30 doesn't mess up the more modern EFI system. You will need a Factory Service Manual or some other kind of wiring diagram.

BMW E30 CHASSIS
Any factory-made BMW E30 made between 1982 and 1993 will still work with a BWM differential.
Unless the number of cylinders changes, the factory tachometer will still work. If the number of cylinders has changed from the factory, use the Dakota Digital SGi-5.
The A/C, wipers, and reverse lights still work, and the Alternator Warning light is still on.
Optional Factory Gauge Sensor Adapters keep the Oil Pressure and Coolant Temp clusters working as they did when the BMW was new. The adapters are also made to fit most aftermarket temperature and pressure gauges that need a 1/8"-27 thread pitch. Will need to use the oil and temperature sensors from an E30 BMW (1-wire).
TECHNICAL SPECS FOR THE PRO-SERIES HARNESS
"Plug and Play" is easy and works well.
There is NO CORE HARNESS or extra wiring needed.
When possible, OEM wire colors are used.
EM-shielded wires are used to connect all sensor signal connections.
Fireproof fiberglass sleeving is used near the manifold and turbo where the temperature is high (-40°C/-40°F to +450°C/+845°F).
Every wire is checked for point-to-point continuity.
Made with the same OEM connectors and seals.
Made with high-temp TXL wire and adhesive shrink tubing (operating temperature of -40°C/-40°F to +125°C/+257°F).
Wrapped in a thin nylon loom (with an operating temperature range of -94°C/-137°F to +125°C/+257°F)
Charge harnesses and better grounds are included.
Fully tested after production so that you can just plug it in and use it.
